Loch Sven to Lisbon – Sailing the Bay of Biscay
The last successful delivery was from Loch Sven, deep in the hart of Scotland, all the way down to the warmer climate of Portugal. It took us just under 2 weeks in total with a couple of stop offs. The first on the isle of Gigha, then onto the Silly Isles and then onto La Corona and finally all the way down to Lisbon.
We headed into a Southerly wind literally all the way across the Bay of Biscay but then enjoyed a fresh breeze from the West taking us all the way down the coast of Portugal and round into Lisbon.
